About Bethells Luxury Retreat
We fell in love with glamping several years ago and have talked too long about it, so… we have finally created our dream of a peaceful, relaxing, luxurious retreat amongst nature. It’s just an easy 5 minute stroll to our magnificent luxury safari tent, or if you prefer, pop your luggage and supplies in the back of our Bethells Luxury Retreat ATV and follow the trail.
The property is situated 8 minutes from the rugged West Auckland Bethells Beach (Te Henga). We’re close by a huge number of activities to suit your tastes including walks, wineries and breweries, art or visiting the beach, or just relax at the tent where we have spared no expense on providing a wide variety of facilities. You could read a book on the day bed, cook dinner on the barbeque, play games, make smores on the firepit, soak in the claw foot bath or….

Luxury European Glamping Tent
A unique experience with staying in our luxury glamping tent imported from The Netherlands – you’ll be nestled amongst the bush with native birdsong and all the facilities you need for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The luxury glamping tent is ideal for couples with a queen sized bed as well as cooking facilities (barbeque, electric frying pan & microwave), bathroom and shower, spacious sun-filled deck and firepit, gas fire table and outdoor bath.
